Louise Howard is an award-winning health and safety leader with over 15 years’ experience shaping strategies for mega projects and major operations across rail, energy, utilities, and other high-risk industries. A recognised industry figure, she delivers pragmatic, fit-for-purpose solutions that align with organisational needs balancing technical rigour with strong commercial insight, a capability rarely found in her field.

Renowned for her client-side leadership and ability to drive governance and operational excellence, Louise has contributed to the success of complex, transformative projects spanning multi-stakeholder, billion-dollar portfolios. Her strength in developing actionable strategies while navigating highly dynamic environments is reflected in numerous honours, including AFR BOSS Young Executive of the Year (2020) and the NSW Premier’s Award (2022).

Louise brings together advanced qualifications including an Executive MBA and a Master’s in Occupational Health and Safety with extensive board-level engagement and strategic advisory experience. She is at the forefront of modern safety leadership, helping organisations embed practical, fit-for-purpose systems that deliver measurable outcomes. Louise currently holds four board and committee roles, including with SafeWork NSW, Western Sydney University, the Australian Institute of Safety, and the Touched by Christopher Foundation.
